[Anthropgrad] volunteers for AAS conference

Dear students,


The AAS committee are now calling for volunteers. Volunteers who work for
5 hrs will have half of their registration fee covered by AAS, and those
who work for 10 hrs will have their full fee covered. Since this was only
settled today, the deadline for 'early bird' registration for volunteers
will be extended until Monday 10 September 2007.

Since we are an international university, and since we have an
international student population at ANU, I suggest that volunteers wear
any national or traditional costumes during their volunteer period to
support the idea of cultural diversity.  Please let me know what the
costumes will be. If there are more volunteers than jobs, we will decide
by pulling names out of a hat.
