TAPJA's multi-media reviews editor, Dr Peter Toner has 'passed the baton' to another ethnomusicologist, Dr Kirsty Gillespie. We thank Peter for his excellent work in establishing this section of the journal, and for expanding its focus to encompass ethnomusicology, an welcome Kirsty to the editorial group.

Kirsty Gillespie received her PhD from the ANU in 2008 for her dissertation
'Steep slopes: Song creativity, continuity and change for the Duna of Papua
New Guinea'. She has conducted research and made recordings of music
throughout PNG, most recently for a community-based cultural heritage
project in New Ireland Province. She has also published a number of book
chapters and reviews on performance practices of the region.
