**Looking for a mature and sociable person to join a friendly postgrad 
household on June 23**

A large household of postgrad students is seeking someone to replace our

housemate who is returning home. The household currently consists of 4 
girls and 5 guys: 2 Australians, 2 Americans, a Swede, an Indian, a 
Bosnian, a Malaysian, the Dutch guy who's leaving us, plus a friendly 
indoor cat!

The house is right across the road from the ANU in Turner, about 2 
minutes walk from campus. Buses to Civic, Dickson and Belconnen shopping

centres stop just outside. The house is very large (2 storey), modern 
and comfortable with air conditioning, central heating, wireless 
broadband and a large garden. It is an 8 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms,

2 lounge areas, a huge kitchen and a laundry with an automatic washing 
machine. The entire house is fully furnished, including the bedrooms 
(bed, mattress, bedside table and lamp, desk, reading light, adjustable 
chair, wardrobe etc, even coat hangers!), and the kitchen is fully 
equipped with all appliances and utensils. There is even a piano and a 
ping-pong table :-)

The available room is upstairs and costs $175/week. Electricity, gas and

internet are included in the rent. Bond is 2 weeks rent and we would 
need you to sign an agreement at least until February 14 2009.

To join our household you'd need to be sociable, easy going and happy to

live with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. You 
should also be very clean and tidy and not afraid of housework (we all 
share the chores).
