Dear Friends

You may know of a young Australian woman under 30 who has a few years
of experience in managing and administering programs who wants a change.
The YWCA of the Solomon Islands wants to find someone under 30 who is
willing to become an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development (AYAD)
for a year starting Sept-Oct 2009. We need to get CVs and expressions of
interest before the end of April, so if you know of any young women who
want a fantastic experience and who can really contribute to the
development of programs for women and girls in the Solomons, please
forward this to them and have them write me or see the attached outline
as well as the AYAD conditions. We'd prefer someone with experience in a
YWCA but if a woman has been working with communities or youth they
would probably easily learn about the YWCA and its service delivery
which has focussed internationally on HIV/AIDs affect on women and
girls, women and girls leadership and health as well as economic
development schemes for women. Hope we can find the right person pretty
soon. Have them write me diane.goodwillie at pacific.net.au
<javascript:main.compose('new', 't=diane.goodwillie at pacific.net.au')> if
they want further information.

 Diane
