[Anthropgrad] Friday Seminar Series.

Hi everyone.  I’m pleased to announce that Rebekah Plueckhahn will be
delivering our first Friday seminar on the 20th of February at 3pm in
the Milgate Room.  A title and abstract (along with a reminder of the
seminar time) will be posted closer to the date.

This year the Board of Studies would like to trial the idea of having a
discussant to promote wider discussion among the seminar participants.
The idea is that a senior Grad student (3rd-4th year) would offer a
critical commentary on the presentation (for no more than 5 minutes) and
raise some issues that might be followed up in general discussion.  It
will be the responsibility of the presenter to organise a discussant for
their seminar.

Finally, if the presenters could please forward a title and abstract to
me at least a week prior to their booking it would be greatly
appreciated.
