[Anthropgrad] Death of Professor Vladimir Kabo

Betty Meehan has asked me to let you know that Professor Vladimir Kabo,
Australian ethnologist, formerly of the USSR Academy of Sciences, and a long
time resident of Canberra, died today, the 4th June 2009 here in Canberra.

A memorial gathering will be held for him at Tobin Brothers Funerals, 75
Canberra Avenue, Kingston, at 3pm on Monday 8th June (this is a public
holiday). 

Afterwards Dr Elena Govor and her son Ralphie invite people to 43 Leichhardt
Street, Kingston, to celebrate his life.

All are welcome at both locations.
