[Anthropgrad] Anthropology Honours and Postgraduate Research Seminar Program, University of Sydney Semester 1, 2009

Dear all,

 

The University of Sydney would like to promote the Anthropology Honours
and Postgraduate Research Seminar program as an informal opportunity to
foster and develop an intellectual and social network between
anthropology students. Last year's seminar program (see link:
http://www.arts.usyd.edu.au/departs/anthro/postgrad/seminars_research.sh
tml) was a great success as were the many social events, that
accompanied it! This year we are planning to expand the Honours and
Postgraduate Research Seminar program to include contributions from
other universities. 
We therefore welcome presentations and/or attendance by honours and
postgraduate students external to the University of Sydney and have
attracted additional funding from the department to support this
venture.
 
All interested students should be encouraged to attend (in particular
those planning to present their work) the initial seminar where future
presentations will be scheduled following introductions.
