[Anthropgrad] Anthropology Friday Seminar Series - break in program.

We will be having a two week break in our Friday Seminar Series program;
this Friday (3/4) coincides with an induction session for new graduate
students and the following week is Good Friday (10/4).  The Friday
Seminar Series will resume on Friday 17/4.

 

Program for this Friday (3/4):

 

For graduate students in the school of Anthropology and Archaeology, a
light lunch will be provided at 1pm on Friday to welcome new candidates.
It is most likely that the venue will be the Humanities Conference Room
(upstairs in the AD Hope Building), but if the weather forecast changes
we will be outside.  Liz Walters will confirm the venue on Thursday.

 

Following this, for all new Phd / HDR graduate students in Anthropology
at ANU for 2009, an Induction Session will run from 2.30 to 4.30pm at
the Hedley Bull Centre, Lecture Theatre 2 (new building behind Coombs).
This will be an opportunity to meet faculty staff and find out more
about the 2009 Phd program activities.
