[ANUBC] Learn To Play Bridge Software, Last Call for Batemans

Some of you have told me that you did not receive a CD with the PC Learn to

*Also, I would like to finalise Batemans Bay participation by Wednesday
next week. I enclose what was sent out in the last email for the benefit of
new additions to the mailing list.*

*Batemans Bay Congress*

Our major beginner and intermediate event for the year is almost upon us.
The Batemans Bay Congress is a competition at which players from all around
the region come to Batemans Bay to play two days of bridge. ANU Bridge Club
has a history of taking a group down to this congress. There is a strong
focus on teaching and experience and you will be able to meet some very
good players.

The congress will be held on the weekend *9-11 March. *This congress is
usually good as it occurs before university studies get too hectic - and
it's a great chance to get out of Canberra for a little bit and down to the
beach.

ANUBC and BFACT (the Bridge Federation of the ACT) *subsidise this trip
considerably* and you will expect to pay at most $40 for accomodation,
transport and entry fees over the entire weekend.

soon.
