[ANUBC] Lunchtime Bridge, Batemans

Hi all,

I missed all of you last week - I was up on the Gold Coast playing bridge.
By the way, in case you thought that young people could never be good at
bridge - the *MILNE *team won the Gold Coast Congress Open Teams - one of
the largest competitions in Australia. There are no players on *MILNE *above
30 years old... *Nabil EDGTTON *and *Ashley BACH *won the Open Pairs, Nabil
is 19 or something....

Just the regular reminder that we will be holding bridge on Thursday 1-2
next to Asian Bistro (upstairs at the ANU Union Building). This week I will
be bringing in pre-dealt boards and hopefully I can introduce all of you to
the scoring system.

For admin purposes - Could all people who have indicated that they are
interested in going but have not received an email from me asking to
confirm please email me TODAY?

If you have already emailed me and confirmed, but you do not have an ABF
number (if you are new you will most likely not have one) please email me
your Name, Date of Birth and Address so I can register you with the
Australian Bridge Federation masterpoint system.

You can play bridge whenever (but not from the uni computers I believe :-(
) by logging on to BBO. Go to http://www.bridgebase.com/ and follow the
instructions! The field is varied and you will always find a game suitable
for your level.
