[anzac.conference] update on the planning of the Turk-ANZAC Conference

I'll do my letters when I get back to Oz.  In the meantime, we have had a response from the Turkish Ambassador:
 
'I will be glad to attend the dinner. However, I will be in a position to confirm my attendance only at the beginning of July as there will be many planned activities for the first week of August 2005'.

Dear all,

Please find attached an updated organisational checklist. Grace and I met a few weeks ago. I met Mal and Margy in Canberra recently. The Turkish team has done a lot of work to prepare a budget and other activities. I have a detailed document in Turkish which I have summarised to include in the attached document. Please have a look and send your comments, suggestions, ideas to move this exciting project forward. There are quite a few things we need to decide re the program and other aspects.
