Victoria - Special Publication 23, Ed. W.D. Birch (2003)

How to obtain a copy.

Now that Geology of Victoria has been launched, copies are
available for purchase either through the Victoria Division or through
the Business Office in Sydney. How this is done depends on where you
are and how you want to pay. Please select from the following
options.

1. Cash sales (cash or cheque only) can only be through the Victoria
Division. Books will be available at GSA monthly meetings or you can
arrange to collect a book at other times by contacting Bill Birch
(9270 5049). Books will be stored at the Geosciences section of Museum
Victoria and can be picked up from the Royal Exhibition Building
basement by arrangement with Bill. Using this method, the prices are
as follows:

Members: $125
Non-members: $145
Postage and handling $10 extra if the book is to be mailed out.

Cash receipts will be issued (note these prices are GST free).

2. Institutional, credit-card and GST-inclusive sales can only be
processed by the GSA's Business Office in Sydney. You can order the
book using the form printed in The Australian Geologist or if you want
to save postage and handling you can collect the book at a monthly
meeting or through Bill Birch as shown above.

You will then be invoiced from Sydney office. Using this method, the
prices are as follows:

Members: $148.50
Non-members: $170.50
Postage and handling of $11 included; tax invoice/receipt will be
supplied.

Note that the postage and handling charge in both methods is for
Australia only. Overseas postage is extra.

3. Go to the GSA web site: http://www.gsa.org.au/ and then to
"books on-line" then "Divisions" then
"Victoria" .

Members: $148.50 (Aus) $165.00 (overseas)
Non-members: $170.50 (Aus) $175.00 (overseas)

All prices given are in Australian dollars and include surface
postage. Australian prices include GST.

4. Bill Birch says that the GSA are exploring options of having the
book available in several retail outlets, such as Information
Victoria, The DPI Information Centre and Bookshop and the
Melbourne Museum Bookshop. The cost of the book through these outlets
is likely to be close to $200.
