</b></font><font face="arial" size=2>The 8th Australasian Environmental
Isotope Conference will be held in Melbourne from Monday 29 November -
Wednesday 1 December 2004. This is the latest in a long-running series of
conferences dedicated to the application of stable and radiogenic
isotopes to studies of environmental processes.<br><br>
As with previous conferences in this series, we invite presentations on

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Contaminant hydrogeology<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Groundwater-surface water
interaction<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Modelling of hydrologic
systems<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Unsaturated zone

It will run from Wednesday 1 December - Friday 3 December 2004 and follow
on from the 8th Australasian Environmental Isotope Conference. By holding
the conferences together, the synergies between the two fields may be
better exploited.<br><br>
