[Atmos_enviro_health] Climate data for the world

Dear all

I've just discovered you can buy a CD containing climate data for more than
4000 places around the world from the US NCDC.  It's called GLOBAL CLIMATE
NORMALS 1961-1990 and costs $75 if you order it from their online shop at
http://nndc.noaa.gov/?http://ols.nndc.noaa.gov:80/plolstore/plsql/olstore.ma
in?look=1  I ordered mine on Tuesday and it arrived today!  Of course, you
can get climate data averages from sites such as
http://www.worldweather.org/ (WMO) but this CD has much more data than
anything I've seen on the www and it all covers the same period of time and
is supposed to be calculated in the same way (treatment of missing values,
etc).  I like it!
