We just thought that we should send you this email as 2004 winds
up, to remind you that you are a member of the Atmospheric Environment
and Health list server, whose email address is
atmos_enviro_health at anu.edu.au <mailto:atmos_enviro_health at anu.edu.au> .
There hasn't been a lot of action through the list server during
2004 and we're hoping that 2005 might prove to be a better year for
collaboration, information sharing and networking, using this great
The idea of setting up this list server is so that people who
are interested in atmospheric environment and health will have a
'one-stop-shop' email address to which they can send emails to their
colleagues in the field ...
- posing questions,
- providing answers,
- sharing information,
- promoting events / workshops / short courses,
... basically forming a community and communicating with each
To post to the list, simply send an email to
atmos_enviro_health at anu.edu.au <mailto:atmos_enviro_health at anu.edu.au>
and your email will be distributed to the 160+ current members on the
To reply to a post, simply hit the reply button, and it will go
to the person who posted the first email (if that is what you have set
in your membership options screen). If you wish to reply to the whole
list, address your reply email to atmos_enviro_health at anu.edu.au
<mailto:atmos_enviro_health at anu.edu.au> .
If you are concerned that emails from this list server will
start bombarding your inbox, there are membership options that you can
tailor, such as the Digest option, which allows you to receive the
postings to the list server as a digested email, bundling the days
emails together into one, rather than receiving each individual email as
it happens. This option hasn't been necessary for most members so far,
as we have only had 9 postings to the list server address since its
inception in October 2003, but if activity rises (fingers crossed), some
of you may prefer to use the Digest option.
If you wish to unsubscribe from this email list, go to this
and type in your email address in the yellow field at the bottom
of the page.
We look forward to some active and beneficial community
participation and communication in the coming year.
