Submission of abstracts for the 2011 TLSA conference Communicating New Research on Timor-Leste is now closed.

We have now received a large number of abstracts, in all four conference languages, and it promises to be another vibrant and well-attended conference in Dili.

Just a quick reminder about registration:
Registration details and costs: are available here http://tlstudies.org/ConferenceEng2011.html#Registration
East Timorese nationals: please register and pay (if required) at the registration desk on June 30. East Timorese delegates can notify and confirm their attendance before the conference by emailing: Alarico da Costa Ximenes, Fakuldade Siensia Sosiais e Politikas, UNTL. Email: alaricodacosta at rocketmail.com
Internationals: may either pre-pay using the registration form, or pay at the registration desk in Dili on June 30. However, in both cases delegates should submit their completed registration forms by Friday June 10. (Please write "pay in Dili" at the payment section if that is your intention.)
Finally, anyone requiring a specific written acceptance of their abstract (e.g. for funding purposes) should contact their relevant language panel organiser. If this is not required (and you have received an email acknowledging receipt of your abstract from an organiser) you may assume your abstract has now been accepted.

We look forward to seeing you all in Dili in late June.

Michael
for the conference organisers.
