PhD and Research Masters theses on Timor-Leste last week in Melbourne it was
decided to set up a regular (monthly?) informal get together. This
would include research students, supervisors, propsective examiners etc.
who might be interested in discussing their research, common problems with
postgraduate research, access to materials, availability of research findings in
Timor-Leste for Timorese researchers etc. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The first such gathering will be held on Thursday
8th October from 4 pm at the Graduate School Lounge (9th
floor) at Victoria University's City Campus, 300 Flinders Street,

and this group will be revived and advertised through the Timor Leste Studies
Association email. The next meeting will be on Thursday 15th possibly
at the Department of Community Development, UNTL, Caicoli Campus but wait for a
