Hi all, <BR>The next round of Tetun and Portuguese classes will be starting shortly in Melbourne. Please note that we now have a Tetun speaking group on thursday evenings which is free for students enrolled in one of the courses. We also have hardcopies of the <EM>Peace corps Tetun language course, </EM> <EM>Tetun for the justice sector, </EM>and <EM>Tetun-English wordfinder </EM>(all excellent tetun resources written by Catharina Williams-van Klinken) which we can post out to people.<BR>Course details:<BR><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'"></SPAN> <BR><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'">1- Basic tetum course (level 1). consists of 10 x 1.5 hr classes (monday evenings). Each week covers a different basic topic. Course cost is $250, which includes 10 classes, course book, CD, and tetun-english wordfinder. Students of this course can attend the speaking classes (thursday evenings) for free. <B>Next course begins in Melbourne March 28th</B>, 2011. Held in Sydney rd, Brunswick. <BR> <BR>2- Basic tetum course (level 2). consists of 10 x 1.5 hr classes (monday evenings). Each week covers a different topic, going a bit further than level one. Course cost is $250, which includes 10 classes, course book, CD, and tetun-english wordfinder. Students of this course can attend the speaking classes (thursday evenings) for free. <B>Next course begins in Melbourne March 28th</B>, 2011. Held at Victoria University Flinders st campus.<BR> <BR>3- Distance course (level 1 and 2). Students anywhere in the world can do either of the courses by distance, sending homework for correction on a weekly basis, and having access to tutors via email to ask questions. course cost $125, we will send students the course book, CD, and wordfinder and correct homework and answer questions for the 10 week period. <B>Course can be started at any time</B>. <BR> <BR>4- Tetum speaking classes. Every thursday night in brunswick (melbourne). three tutors are on hand to encourage students to speak and improve their tetum. All levels welcome. cost is $10 per class, payable on the evening. <B>Classes are ongoing</B> and currently running in Melbourne (Sydney rd, brunswick).</SPAN><BR><BR>
