The TLSA an interdisciplinary, international research network focussed on all aspects of research into East Timorese society, including politics and history, economics, communications, health, language, agriculture and science. There will also be a special stream on the theme of 1975, to commemorate the forty-year anniversary of the declaration of independence, and theIndonesian invasion. Papers examining Timor-Leste’s regional and international relationships, and East Timorese perspectives on regional and global issues, are also encouraged.
