<p class="MsoNormal"><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This
two-day conference for researchers is organised by the Timor-Leste Studies
Association (TLSA). The TLSA an interdisciplinary, international research
network focussed on all aspects of research into East Timorese society,
including politics and history, economics, communications, health, language,
agriculture and science. There will also be a special stream on the theme of
1975, to commemorate the forty-year anniversary of the Indonesian invasion. The ‘Timor-Leste: The Local, the Regional and the Global’ conference will be
co-hosted by the National University of Timor-Lorosa’e, Swinburne University of
Technology, and the University of Lisbon. </font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">RELATED
EVENTS: The ‘Timor-Leste: The Local, the Regional and the Global’ conference
will precede the ‘Finding Pathways in Education’ conference, organised by
Victoria University and the National University of Timor-Lorosa’e, to be held
in Dili on 13 – 14 July 2015. For further information about this conference,

the weekend between these two conferences (Saturday and Sunday 11 – 12 July), a
