<div class="">A decade on from the tabling of the monumental Chega! report, the Timor-Leste government is building a centre of memory to ensure the lessons of its traumatic history are remembered and passed on to future generations. The initiative is a regional
first and model of what the UN calls the Fourth Stage of sustainable reconciliation best practice. The new Centre will also work with Indonesia on the two countries’ shared history.<br class="">
