Michael Rose, an anthropologist out of the ANU, has just published a book on Oecussi with the Amsterdam University Press.</p>

A narrative ethnography, it is essentially a series of stories exploring at how, openly or implicitly,

<i>adat</i> remains essential to life in Timor today, and the author’s various misadventures in trying to understand and articulate this reality.</p>
