Dear Registered GenAlEx user

First a note of appreciation to all of those users who responded to
my last email (see copy below) and kindly took the time to provide a
short statement of support for GenAlEx and/or completed our teaching
survey. We are now finalising the documentation to support the
nomination of GenAlEx for an Australian National University 2005
'Prize for Innovation IT Application'. Your enthusiastic feedback
will be incorporated into this document.

Just in case you haven't yet had the time to complete the teaching
survey, we have extended the survey until Monday, Aug 22. It only
takes a few moments and we would certainly welcome your response.

A number of users have identified some minor bugs and I am pleased to
report that we have just posted GenAlEx 6b3 which fixes these issues
and also offers the calculation of geographic distance from Latitude/
Longitude data. Thanks to those users for identifying these issues.

Further minor additional improvements are planned as we near the
official release of GenAlEx 6 which will coincide with publication of
a computer note in Molecular Ecology Notes.

Once again, thank you for you enthusiastic support of GenAlEx.

Rod
