Two more provinces hit with acute diarrhea outbreak

Health authorities from the northern port city of Hai Phong Monday announced 
four out of the 13 patients admitted with diarrhea have tested positive for cholera.
The city is the third one in Vietnam’s northern area hit with a severe diarrhea 
outbreak following Hanoi and Bac Ninh.
Meanwhile, in the north central coastal province of Thanh Hoa, authorities 
confirmed seven cases of acute diarrhea in two districts and Thanh Hoa Town.
The province has sent teams to those areas to take testing samples and spray 
chemicals to kill bacteria.
