More travelers with H1N1 flu suspect in quarantine

Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport Quarantine Center on May 
21 tested four passengers with fever. Two were found negative with A/H1N1, and 
findings for the other two were not available by the end of the day.

On May 20, the center tested 14 passengers who suffered high fever. Eleven of 
them people were allowed to leave hospital after they tested negative for the 
influenza A/H1N1 virus. However, health officials keep surveillance on them as 
they went on the same flight with Le Thi Bich who had earlier been found to have 
the H1N1 virus and quarantined in South Korea.

Meanwhile, one of the passengers who traveled on the same flight OZ 271 with was 
taken to the General Hospital of Danang City on the central coast with symptoms 
of sore throat and fever on May 21, Danang Department of Health deputy director 
Nguyen Ut announced.

According to the World Health Organization, as of 06:00 GMT, 21 May, 41 
countries have officially reported 11,034 cases of influenza A/H1N1 infection, 
including 85 deaths.

In Vietnam, 15,859 passengers on May 20 entered the country including 340 people 
from the U.S, 219 from Mexico and 3,751 from affected nations. Vietnam has 
quarantined 63 suspect people who were all negative for the flu virus.
