The international volunteer organization SJ Vietnam is the house for
young volunteers having desires to contribute and devote to the society.
Recently, in the National Hospital of Pediatrics, where about 1000
pediatric patients are being treated in more than 20 departments; many
voluntary activities with various forms have been organized to take care
of the children’s mental health. These activities have brought much
happiness for both the volunteers and the patients. Though our
volunteers just simply play and talk with the children everyday that
really means a lot to the pediatric patients who face the soreness and
loneliness in hospital. And for all volunteers, innocent eyes of
children suffering these illnesses have kindled within each of them
desire to soothe the pains and bring the smiles to the children. Their
greatest joy is to see children become healthier day by day and can play
and sing happily. With 7 groups working every afternoon in all
departments, SJ Vietnam and our enthusiastic volunteers have ignited the
spirit of “Bring a smile, soothe the pain” project to warm up the
children’s hearts and bring the joy to those lovely little angels.



On the occasion of the International Children’s Day June 1^st , this
year, SJ Vietnam decides to organize the “Children’s smile” week and the
“Earth in your eyes” show.



The “Children’s smile” week is holding from Sunday May 24^th to Saturday
May 30^th , and “Earth in your eyes” show is scheduled on Sunday May
31^st in the National Hospital of Pediatrics.
