Please find enclosed with the job description for the position of medical coordinator at Magna.
MAGNA Children at Risk is a Slovakian non-governmental organization active since 2001; is organized for exclusively charitable and humanitarian purposes. Specifically, is formed to carry out humanitarian and development projects aimed at helping people in need, whether due to poverty, disease, war or ecological disaster regardless of ethnicity, religion or nationality.

Currently, MAGNA is looking for a Medical Coordinator for our project in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Job description:

*  Providing a support to medical personnel in the implementation and running period of the project oriented on PMTCT (prevention mother-to-child transmission of HIV) in health facilities in Ha Noi.
*  Working experience with HIV/AIDS patients (HIV/AIDS care, treatment, counselling, prevention)
*  Cooperate with medical hospital staff to ensure quality of medical services provided to PMTCT patients, HIV/AIDS exposed and infected children
*  Ensure that follow-ups for HIV pregnant mothers and their newborns are meeting National guidelines criteria
*  Working closely with MAGNA PMTCT Counsellors and MAGNA Project Counsellor to ensure high quality service 
*  Ability to provide trainings for medical and paramedical staff (HIV/AIDS, Nutrition etc.)
*  Providing regular weekly and monthly reports to a Field Coordinator
*  Attending regular weekly and monthly staff meetings
*  Some other additional tasks related to the project can be required
Job requirements:

    Medical qualification – Medical Doctor/Nurse/Pharmacist

    At least 2 years of working experience in the field

    Knowledge in HIV/AIDS field (National Policy, Guidelines etc).

    Good interpersonal communication skills

    Intermediate written and spoken English skills

    Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

    Computer skill : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
