FHI 360/ Vietnam is seeking dynamic and creative thinking Vietnamese Nationals to fill the following positions:

1.       Associate Director, Drug Use Programming, Hanoi based
The position is responsible for development and management of implementation of interventions for drug users supported by FHI 360, including but not limited to the following:
·            Drug policy advocacy and training to government counterparts and civil society partners that aim to shift away from punitive to public health approaches for drug users
·            Peer education/outreach activities 
·            Partnerships with law enforcement agencies 
·            Increased availability and accessibility of commodities (needles and syringes and condoms) 
·            Social work/case management services.
·            Development of drug users advisory groups
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and abilities:
·            Master’s degree in health policy, public policy, social science or public health and/ or related field.
·            At least 7 years of progressively senior management experience working with non-government organizations, foundations, or government agencies with expertise in advocacy, research as well as program design and implementation.
·            Significant work experience in areas of policy analysis, project design and management including working with civil society.
2.       Technical Officer, Drug Use Programming, Ho Chi Minh City based
The position is responsible for development, coordination to the management of implementation of interventions for drug users supported by FHI 360, with emphasis on behavioral interventions through community outreach and network approach, continuum of prevention to care and treatment services, and training activities in ways that is cost-efficient. The position will also take the leadership in policy advocacy to promote a public health and humane approach to drug users.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and abilities:
·            Undergraduate degree in health policy, public policy, social science or public health and/ or related field.
·            At least 3 years of experience working with non-government organizations, foundations, or government agencies with expertise in HIV program design and implementation related to drug use issues.

·            Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.  Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people throughout a complex organization.
·            Ability and enthusiasm to learn new areas and willingness to contribute to a dynamic team.
·            Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
