[health-vn] Request for information on International NGOs in Việt Nam

The NGO Resource Centre no longer produces a Directory of International NGOs.
It lists only its own 125 members out of the 800 or 900 total INGOs and that excludes
some very big entities such as WWF. 

The Institute of Social Science http://iss.org.vn/index.php?act=search_tc
has published a list of almost 400 Local NGOS online and in print/pdf.  I helped
some of my VNGO colleagues publish something similar a few years ago.
And you are right to support VNGOs. They will be here when all the INGOs are
gone. 

There are also International Universities (of course) which have projects in Viet Nam,
Foundations and bilateral/multilateral agencies. These are not registered with VUFO. 

Unless this stuff is in the telephone book, and I do not think it is, there is on place one can 
go to get an Idea of who is working in Development in Viet Nam. 

It is a simple idea and it should not bother anyone. I am willing to add names to existing
short list on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_non-governmental_organizations_in_Vietnam
(anyone else can do this as well!)
