Dear Colleague,
Are you working on rural development, natural resource management, citizen
participation, indigenous knowledge, etc?
Are you doing anything related to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in
some community, school, organization, or project? ESD, growing from
environmental education and development education, is simply understood as
education and training that develop knowledge, skills, and values for building a
sustainable world.
If YES, I would like to ask for your kindness to participate in the UNESCO
Education for Sustainable Development mapping. The goal of this mapping is to
make an overview on ESD activities and initiatives in Vietnam, for better
coordination and information sharing.
Please take some time to identify and provide information in the attached
QUESTIONNAIRE about YOUR ESD programs, activities and initiatives. And send it
to us on esdvietnam at unesco.org at the latest by 15 November 2008.
Your reply will be updated in a web-blog: http://esdvietnam.wordpress.com/ for
future sharing and cooperation between different organizations, groups and
individuals.
Thank you very much for your cooperation. We are looking forward to hearing from
you soon.
Sincerely,
Katja Pellini
ESD Programme Officer
UNESCO Hanoi
