HERDSA: ACT Rod West visit

The Canberra branch of HERDSA posts this notice for colleagues at UWS, Wollongong, Charles Sturt, Orange Ag Coll etc who may wish to attend:

ACT HERDSA EVENT

This month, the ACT Branch of HERDSA will host a talk by Roderick West,
Chair of the Committee for the Review of Higher Education Policy and
Financing.  Mr West has issued several press statements which have
generated robust debate in the higher education sector, and following his
visits to the universities of Australia, he has noted the need to attend to
the financing of universities if quality is to be maintained.  

This event will be at 4.00 pm on Monday 30 June
in the Lecture Theatre of the Law School (Building 6, Level C, Room 35) 
at the University of Canberra.

ACT HERDSA will charge an entry fee of $5; refreshments will be
available free of charge.
