HERDSA: request for information

Robin Graham of the Christchurch Polytechnic has circulated the following; please reply to

Our polytechnic is currently designing a new complex which will house 
The Education Resource Division which comprises  the library,
Learning Services and Staff Development. Adjacent to this will be 
classrooms and facilities for Humanities accommodating mainly 
International and ESOL and foreign language schools. Within this 
complex it is envisaged that there will be a self access centre which 
may cater for all students not just NESB  and/or International which 
may be the more common model. 

We are keen to hear from 
anybody who has experience or knowledge of such a model. As always 
with these things there is a great sense of urgency as discussions 
are currently underway with the architects and clarity of purpose 
and instruction is highly desirable!
