Dear Colleagues
I am looking for ways of getting more contributions to HERDSA News and
have decided to call for volunteers to be correspondents. Their role
would be to look out for items of interest which could be included in the
News. We are looking for interesting activities in teaching and research
and news of HERDSA members' achievements. The correspondent would keep an
eye open for possibilities, make an initial approach to potential
contributers and put them in touch with me as editor. I do not envisage
there would be any writing required of the correspondents unless they
wish to, so the task need not be very onerous. I hope it will enable us
to include a wide variety of topics in the News and gather contributions
from a wider group than we do at the moment.
I have also asked Branch Presidents to nominate a correspondent so I
could count on one person per branch but it would be good have several
other people involved, hence this notice. So if you feel you could take
on this role then get on touch with me preferably by email:
landbeck@ozemail.co.au.
Looking forward to hearing from you
