CENTRE FOR STAFF DEVELOPMENT

through its Centre for Staff Development, to over 2,000 academic,
administrative and support staff. The Centre is highly
regarded and plays a strategic role in shaping the University's future. It
provides a comprehensive range of high quality and
innovative development opportunities in the fields of teaching and
learning, research and research support (including
research supervision), leadership and management, and general career
development. 

The Centre incorporates a
self-directed development facility for staff of the university and makes
significant use of information technology to provide a
range of flexible learning opportunities.

The
Centre seeks to make a tenurable academic teaching appointment to
complement the resources of the existing staff.
Excellent credentials as a staff developer are required. Applicants must be
experienced in staff development in more than
one of the broad areas identified above. An appropriate tertiary
qualification is essential and experience working in a
higher education institution is highly desirable. The successful applicant
must be able to demonstrate a high level of
scholarship in the work they are required to do. Applicants are requested
to submit a portfolio of material as part of their
application to illustrate their effectiveness in teaching and/or staff

SALARY RANGE: Lecturer Level B $46,550 - $55,279 p.a.
