***Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer, Head of Programmes***
Monash University
The Centre for Higher Education Development at Monash (CHED) has a short
term position that will soon become available, due to Dr Helen Edwards,
the present Head of Programmes, taking up a WHO consultancy in Geneva.
We are seeking a replacement for Helen during the period of April or May
through to December. The position may suit a person wishing secondment
in order to gain experience in a large and vigorous Centre. While a
senior person with considerable experience is preferred, a less
experienced but highly motivated person will also be considered.
Duties include taking responsibility for organising workshops (with
administrative support); calling and chairing one or two meetings of
CHED Associates; taking some responsibility (together with the subject
leader) for subject four of the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education
(the Negotiated Project); working with a number of funded project groups
as part of the Strategic Innovations Fund initiative; contributing to an
institutional programme to develop policy and support for the training
of sessional staff. Some degree of flexibility is possible in defining
the activities to be undertaken.
For further details and to discuss the position contact: Dr Helen
Edwards (helen.edwards@adm.monash.edu.au) tel: 03 99056811
