of Auckland.
Vacancy 1166NZJ, (Term Appointment 3-5 years)

The Centre for Professional Development (CPD) provides professional and
organisation development services to all parts of the University through a
range of programmes for Faculties, Departments, teams and individuals.
Academic Development  (faculty development) is provided mainly through the
Teaching/Learning & Research Programme in conjunction with cognate areas of
CPD.

As an appointee you will be expected to make a major contribution to the
services provided by the Teaching/Learning & Research Programme team. You
will be involved in teaching/learning development in a variety of ways
including: a range of academic development workshops, individual lecturer
consultation, working with discipline-based teams on curriculum
development, and evaluation of courses and teaching.

To be considered you will hold advanced and appropriate qualifications, be
a highly competent academic staff developer and teacher, able to relate to
academic staff at all levels, and be experienced at delivering services
across Faculties. You will have an active research profile, be keen to
boost teaching and learning research in disciplines, and will also have
successful experience in helping departments, course teams and individuals
evaluate and improve their teaching. Experience in developing courses for
flexible delivery will be an advantage. Appropriate support services will
be provided in a congenial social context. The position is available now.
