This is the first mailing for 2004. Belated New Year greetings to you all.

By now most of you in Australia and New Zealand will have received the Dec
2003 issue of Herdsa News. Apologies for the late delivery but the file went
missing at the printers in December and we only discovered this recently.
Enclosed with the News was a detailed brochure for the 2004 conference in
Miri, Sarawak. Check it to see the important dates for submitting papers and
registering.

Monash University
Centre for Learning and Teaching Support
Higher Education Development Unit

Monash University is looking for an energetic team of people to work
towards the embedding of on-line learning in the curricula as Monash
moves from WebCT CE to WebCT Vista.

Senior Lecturer (continuing)

The successful applicant will contribute to a range of work in HEDU
including the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.  She/he will
have specific responsibility to lead and manage HEDU's e-learning
academic staff development strategies, work collaboratively with Faculty
and information technology staff and provide day-to-day supervision of
HEDU staff employed on WebCT related projects.

Salary Range:  $54,864 - $65,152 pa Level B;  $67209 - $77496 pa Level C

The successful applicants will plan, coordinate and deliver academic
staff development programs for e-learning and work collaboratively with
