 Teaching Consultant Position at Massey University


The Training and Development Unit at Massey University is currently
advertising for a Teaching Consultant.  This is a permanent, full-time
position based on the University's Palmerston North Campus.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for the
delivery of Massey University's distance, online and flexible learning
programme. This includes providing advice and guidance in instructional
design for online and print resources and associated delivery
mechanisms, and the development and implementation of standards and
models for programme delivery.

Applicants should have experience and expertise in a range of the
following areas: instructional design, online Learning Management
Systems (Massey uses WebCT), the development and review of learning
materials, development and delivery of flexible learning and teaching
programmes, multimedia and online delivery programmes, development and
delivery of staff training, teaching and/or tutoring, adult education,
quality assurance processes, copyright principles and practices.

A tertiary qualification is essential, preferably at post graduate
level.

The position closes on 15 April.
