The University of Queensland is seeking someone with (higher) educational
expertise (and will not have to be medically trained) to head a major new
education/staff development centre at the UQ School of Medicine.
The details of the centre which will be established this year appear in the
advertisement which has also appeared in the Times Higher Ed supplement -

Educational Technology and eLearning (SANTEC). Membership is
free. Any individual or organisation with an interest in educational
technology and eLearning in developing environments is most
welcome to join!
SANTEC has grown to over 600 members in the last 18 months
since starting in June 2003, with more than half of its members
external to SADC from countries such as Australia, New Zealand,
Europe, the US etc.
SANTEC offers members an email discussion list in addition to its
website, a weekly newsletter on international developments in the
use of ICT in developing settings, and monthly online seminars.
