Call for Abstracts
Abstracts of original research or extensive literature reviews are invited
for concurrent papers or poster presentations. Submissions are welcome from
health science professionals on any topic relating to healthcare (clinical,
education, management).
Abstracts should be submitted for selection by: Friday 15th April 2005.
Successful applicants will be expected to submit their paper for inclusion
in the conference proceedings by: Friday 16th September 2005.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Two copies of the abstract are required, one with the names of the author/s
(A) and one without (B).
The abstract should be laid out as follows:
1. Title of the Paper (in capitals and bold).
2. Name of author/s, job title, qualifications and address of the
presenter/s, (in bold, ordinary type). Please underline the name of the
presenter/s. On the second copy, please omit these details, as this is the
copy to be used for blind reviewing by the Selection Panel.
3. Maximum length is one side of an A4 sheet, including any references.
Please use Times New Roman 12 pitch font, single-spacing, with two spaces
between paragraphs.
4. Use the Harvard Referencing System, if applicable.
5. Research reports should include details of the background, design of
study, sample selection methods, data collection and analysis, with a brief
indication of results.
