Dear List Members

There is only one item this week-a vacant position at the new National
Teaching and Learning Centre in New Zealand.

Southern Hub Coordinator
Ako Aotearoa: National Centre for Tertiary Teaching Excellence

This exciting, newly established role, offers you the opportunity to become
part of New Zealand’s first national centre dedicated to assisting tertiary
organisations and educators in delivering the best possible learning
outcomes for students nationwide.

As the Southern Hub Coordinator for the South Island, you will have the
scope to drive and develop this role in a way that realises the key values
and principles identified by Ako Aotearoa nationally. Acting as the core
strategic thinker, the initiatives you develop and implement will design the
future of tertiary teaching for the South Island, and pave the way for
educational excellence across New Zealand.

You will find the opportunity to engage with others and build networks a key
element of the role, as you grow your contacts and engage them in achieving
the objectives of Ako Aotearoa. The challenge of managing the effective
operation of the Southern Hub and its delivery of services throughout the
South Island offers you a uniquely captivating and motivating prospect that
you won’t find anywhere else!
