details such as bus times, campus maps etc., then go to
http://www.plevin.com.au/herdsa2009/
To download a detailed timetable of the sessions go to
http://conference.herdsa.org.au/2009/
This will help you plan the sessions you would like to attend before you get
to Darwin.
There will be no HERDSA email news next Wed as I will be at the conference.
I am looking forward to meeting many of you face-to-face rather than
anonymously through emails.

Notice of Lecture in Brisbane-24 July 2009
The biennial Professor GW (Bill) Bassett Oration set from 5pm, 24 July 2009,
Waterford Place, St Joseph's College, Cnr Quarry & Water Streets, Spring
Hill (Brisbane) on Growing Gorgeous Boys into Good Men by NZ social justice
advocate, storyteller and commentator, Celia Lashlie.
If you are able to be in Brisbane at this time we welcome the chance to meet
colleagues, acknowledge peers, and hear Celia's oral narrative.
Celia worked in prisons and delved into why young men went off the path when
in search of manhood. Beneath the veneer, she discovered a world of living
in the moment, of vulnerability, of intense wisdom. She has spoken to
students, teachers and parents in re-evaluating attitudes and approaches to
growing up as a result of the "Good Man" project.
Pre-registration is essential.
