world 1 and support (or lack of it) fot x terminals

Hi Felllow Linkers

Does any one know if the National Library's new ABN ie World one will offer 
support for x terminals ? 

>From what i have been told access will initially only be by PCs running microsoft 
windows (not sure about Macs but then we dont use them at SLSA)

I think this is a bad move - x windows offers much better functionality and 
ease of use then does microsoft windows. People in our technical services 
absoluely love working on x terminals, they also have PCs but all staff there 
prefer to use  xterminals. All say its much easier to work on x terms. 

x windows provides true multi tasking and moving from one window to another is 
much easier as is copying text from one window to another.

Any comments
