If you are using a properly configured and installed version of Win95, then Windows is far from the worst case. By the way, you can buy Betamax, it is used by professional users like television
companies.
This comment goes for those who were discussing the CIN installation at that library; I use a 486DX4-75Mhz running under Win95. I use the Internet software supplied and Microsoft Exchange - which is being used to write and send this incidentaly - works fine. It is fully integrated into the desktop. I use the Microsoft WWW browser which is much the same as Netscape, and also works just
fine.
I also have a Mac at home with all the other software - so... What ever you find works I
say.

Yep but you can't buy Beta. On the other hand you can buy Macs and
OS/2
both of which have much simpler networking although i have no
personal
experience with OS/2. The arguments for buying Dos/windows on the basis of
all the software available don't apply if all you are using it for is
a
network access tool. In this case windows is the worst
case.
