The whole of Governments home page, hosted by the National Library of
Australia, represents an excellent example of Commonwealth, State and local
government co-operation.

With a minimum fuss, the NLA has crafted a service which brings together all
levels of Australian Government, in a project which provides a cohesive
national view to the world. It took almost one hundred years for the nation
to build a standard railway gauge from one side of the continent to the
other. It took the NLA less than one hundred days to bring together the
elements for a national standard gauge for Government information.

ps: Why don't you host the drinks at Kurra's on Friday and invite the
Senators along?
