Western Australian Linkers,

Aria cafe in Fremantle has PCs linked to the Internet and great coffee.
It is BYO. Below is some info from Patrick D'Cruze (of Linux fame) who
administers the site.

Anyone interested in meeting there to be part of the great Global
Internet Reality Check between 3pm and 5pm on the 15th September ?

Please let me know ASAP, then I can get back to Patrick.

Could some of the Canberrans please let me know about the
protocals/software packages being used at the Canberra end.

Cheers,

Kathryn Osborne

We'd love to...

Sure. Aria is byo (I think) so you're welcome to bring whatever
alcoholic beverages you like. Failing that, they'd be more than pleased
to serve coffee, cappucinos, etc.

Regarding communication mechanisms between Canberra and Perth, you'll
definitely be able to use irc to talk to the others in Canberra, and if
you let me know what audio protocols/software packages they have access to
I may be able to arrange for a voice-conference. Sadly, I don't think
I'll have time to arrange the stereoscopic virtual reality headsets <grin>.

Let me know if you'd like any special arrangements made. We'll do whatever
we can to help.
