PROPOSED CHANGES TO TELECOMMUNICATIONS LEGISLATION

Some of you may be interested in the draft legislation for amending the 
Radio Communications Act and the first package of draft post-1997 
Telecommunications Legislation released on Friday.   The draft 
legislation is available at http://www.dca.gov.au     There are a series 
of clauses relating to the regulation of electronic addressing by the new 
Australian Communications Authority to be established on 1 July 1997.
