I totally agree, Rachel.

I recognise that Western society - and increasingly the Internet - relies on advertising (...I wonder how much Canon and the others paid to have their full page ads in the middle of the Martin Bryant story in the saturday edition of the Sydney Morning Herald - and incidentally this was one of the worst bits of journalism I've ever read...)  but I still hate it.  

I too have switched back to the original site.
