Desenzano Declaration on Child Rights and the Internet

Liddy Nevile responded to my posting re 'childsafe', not from Melbourne,
but from Desenzano del Garda (halfway between Milano and Venezia ...).

She draws to our attention a conference running late this week on kids and
multimedia (well, maybe the original has a more attractive sound, and
meaning:  'Cuccioli e Multimedialita').  The starting page (for the english

During the conference, a child rights declaration for kids on the Internet
is to be released.  I haven't read it through yet;  but the mere fact that
