- Correction Re: Calling Number Display Battle (correction)Yeah maybe I was a bit unclear. I was trying to argue that regulation in
general, privacy regulation in particular & the lack of enforcement of
the privacy requirements re CND are all consistent with the Govt's
Economic Rationalist (ER) policy.
I was agreeing with Robin's posting where he indicated that the Govt &
Sen Alston in particular were placing a higher priority on the Telstra
privatisation than in protecting user's privacy & that this is
consistent with ER.
Maybe there are other factors involved as well.
